Founded in Lyon in 1985, the Human Rights Institute of Lyon (IDHL) is a university institute of higher education that provides technical and specialised training in the field of human rights. One of the characteristics of IDHL is its intercultural dimension. The Institute welcomes students from France and all over the world.
The IDHL benefits from a large network of Alumni of around 1,800 members spread over five continents. They are very active in the field of human rights and remain in contact with the Institute.
The structure also offers trainings for professionals and specialists wishing to deepen their knowledge and technical skills on specific issues.
