Franck Bertucat holds a doctorate in education and training science from the Université Lumière Lyon 2 (doctoral school 485) and is a member of the CONFLUENCE: Sciences et Humanités research unit.



After studying Management at Lyon 3 University (Maîtrise AES, 1989), Franck Bertucat began a career in consulting until 2001. He has been teaching undergraduate courses at ESDES since 2001 and is currently writing a thesis in Education Sciences, which he will defend in 2017. He is interested in teaching practices at university, insofar as they can facilitate the management of learning by students.



He is also in charge of the Assessment Centre at ESDES (the Business School of UCLy) and co-director of the Centre d'Appui à la Pédagogie Enseigner et Apprendre (CAP'EA), where he is responsible for issues relating to university teaching and the Competency-Based Approach (CBA).
